Changing jobs and lifestyles through AI technology
Changing jobs
and lifestyles through AI technology
We have been thinking our whole life that it is a race and
it is unpredictable. Well, the part where we run chasing our goals and dreams
is true, but the unpredictability of many aspects of life is in question. Yes,
the AI technology with the self-learning algorithms is offering a predictable
analysis.
Whether it is business, daily routine, or any other job tasks,
the technology is taking over and almost creating the road to the future.
Medicine, business and even life at home are now dependent on technology and
automation.
The question that rise from the technologies being in place is:
Does society benefit from technologies that are
capable of self-learning or are AI likely to create a separation that’s too
hard to come back from?
We don’t have to go far or back, just observe the recent
situation of a pandemic. Some panicked, some lost their jobs while other
companies in media and social media are just booming in these times. It is all
because of the AI impacting the remote work and making it smooth.
The flip side of AI or self-learning technologies is that
most people will lose their job even in the upcoming future. To overcome the
gap, there are new jobs and the one who adapts the shifting dynamics of work is
the one to survive it. And the finest example is similar to the situation we observed
during COVID-19.
The online market like Netflix, Amazon, and many other similar
platforms has earned more during remote days of work. Companies have adopted AI
technology solutions for the supply chain or HR departments. Also, they all are
using AI for hyper-personalization techniques to increase customer engagement.
So, it is changing the work and lifestyle.
The machine will be able to diagnose the illness and help
doctors with accuracy. Retailers like Amazon will be using bots for multiple
jobs such as stock lifting or resolving any issues.
Yet, this is not the end of human labor. The change is only
about a change in the skills. Yes, if you are already learning critical thinking,
improving your creativity, cognitive skills or learning advanced programming,
you will be a good fit for the automotive society.
People do have a different point of view and one side believes
that there would be no coming back once we dig deep into it, however, some believe
that life would be better and humans may not be able to destroy the causes as
they do right now.
So, the only thing that remains unpredictable with all the
predictability factors of AI technology are about the changes in a lifestyle.
